Washing your dog in winter. When the temperature drops, our motivation for washing our pooch does too. We know we’re inevitably going to get wet and cold. Also, I feel bad for my dog, he shivers and just generally hates being wet (unless we’re talking about jumping in a puddle, he loves being that kind of wet lol). But no one likes a stinky dog so here are some of my tried-and-true tips for winter dog washing with minimal discomfort for everyone.

 

Dogs are occasionally susceptible to the seasonal dangers of dry skin, just like we humans are. During the Winter or when exposed to a lot of wind or dry air, this typically occurs. There is no cause for concern if dry skin is just accompanied by slight itching and flaking, but additional symptoms or indications of pain could point to a more serious condition.

While there are many possible causes of your dog's dry skin, some of them are simple to address while others are more difficult.

First of all HEMP SEED OIL is not going to get your dog high! Just had to clear that up right off the bat. However, it can be confusing when you see the term "hemp oil." There is hemp seed oil and then there is CBD oil (Cannabidiol oil, comes from the stalks, flowers, and buds of the hemp plant.) and then there is Cannabis oil with THC the one that gets you high), which are related but different. THC is not legal in Australia and if it was, we certainly would not be giving it to our dogs. In other words, not all oils from hemp plants will get your dog high.
