Does Your Dog Need A Conditioner?

Something we get asked here at Hey Hudson is Do dogs really need conditioner? And the answer really depends on a few different factors:

 If you wash your dog often - more than once a month - you should definitely condition your dog. Fur, like hair came become porous after excessive washing. Using conditioner will help  to close porosity in the hair shaft, so that their coat retains moisture. 

 

If your dog has itchy skin, you may want to bathe your dog more often to get rid of allergens. And if you’re washing your dog frequently, conditioner is a good idea.
